UM SPH Public Health Practice Summit

The Third Annual Public Health Practice Summit was held on Monday, September 15, 2008 at the University of Michigan School of Public Health.

 

ABOUT THE SUMMIT
The Office of Public Health Practice has held an annual Academic-Practice Summit to explore linkages between Governmental Public Health and Academia since 2006. Annual Summit events include a welcome by Kenneth Warner, PhD, Dean of the School of Public Health and a keynote address by a leader in the field of public health. Summit sessions highlight new SPH initiatives and focus on academic-practice collaborations. Invitees include SPH faculty and students, Health Officers and Medical Directors from all 45 local health departments in Michigan, designated leadership of the Michigan Department of Community Health, and other public health practice partners.
