Community-Based Public Health (CBPH)

SPH- CBPH Committee

SPH established the first official standing committee of the School that includes community partners in its membership.  The SPH- Community-based Public Health Committee is appointed by and reports to the Dean. 
The committee comprises:

  1.  Faculty members from each SPH department
  2. Community-based organization representatives
  3. Representatives from major SPH student organizations

The committee works to:

  1. Provide guidance on CBPH activities
  2. Promote CBPH research and teaching in each of the departments
  3. Work to establish and maintain school policies and programs that support CBPH goals and objectives

Review and award mini-grants and funding supplements which support the development and refinement of courses that have a CBPH component
