Univariate Analysis
Definition: Univariate analysis explores one variable at a time in a data set. It investigates each variable in a data set separately and looks at the range of values, as well as the central tendency of the values. For this type of analysis, researchers look at the range, mean, median and mode of each variable as well as describe any apparent patterns.
