Description
This symposium examined the recent emergence of avian influenza, provided an overview of international and domestic monitoring efforts, looked at influenza immunization development and delivery, and assessed our current state of preparedness to meet the challenge of the next flu pandemic. Speakers from Hong Kong, federal, state and local agencies, and representatives from WHO and CDC reported the latest developments in the worldwide effort to combat influenza.
